It is the consignors responsibility to check for any recalls.
This sale is your sale as much as it is our sale, please only bring items 
that you would consider buying yourself.



  • Gently worn clothing in sizes newborn through 12 years of age in current styles (clothing can not be more than 5 years old). All clothing must be free of stains, rips, holes, odors and pilling. No missing buttons, broken zippers, etc. The September  sale is our fall & winter sale—we won't be accepting summer clothing at this event (save it for our spring sale)! Clothing brands such as Gymboree, Pumpkin Patch, Gap,  Naartjie, Tea Collection, Mini Boden, Peek, Janie and Jack, Baby Lulu and Hanna Andersson will sell well.

  • We will be limiting each consignor to 25 items in each size category NB through 24 months for boys and girls. 

  • The categories are: 
    0-3 mo. (preemie, newborn, 0-3 mo., 3 mo.)
    3-6 mo. (3-6 mo., 6 mo.)
    6-12 mo. (6-9 mo., 6-12 mo., 9 mo., 12 mo.)
    12-18 mo. (12-18 mo., 18 mo.)
    18-24 mo. (18-24 mo., 24 mo.)

  • Shoes need to be in nearly new condition, we will be very picky on this. (Limit 15 pair)
  • Toys, books and puzzles sell very well! Make sure that all the parts & pieces are present and that if the toy needs batteries that they work. Many of our shoppers are looking for toys and games in excellent condition. 
  • Baby gear that is clean and it great working order is always in demand. This includes bouncers, exersaucers, infant carriers, pack n plays, strollers, car seats (they must not be more than three years old, no accidents and you need to be the original owner). Make sure any items with batteries work, we will not be able to sell them otherwise.
  • Diaper bags that are stylish and in good shape.
  • Nursing and feeding supplies in good condition and clean. This may include nursing covers, bottles, bibs, etc. No used breast pumps, we will only be taking new breast pumps in sealed packaging.
  • Outdoor toys and ride-on toys sell very well and will just need a thorough cleaning before being dropped off.
  • Furniture and nursery decor sell well if in good shape and in good taste, linens and bedding items included. There is an abundance of bedding so price it to sell, and remember we will only be taking higher end brands of bedding, ie. Pottery Barn, Land of Nod, Dwell Studio, etc.


There is an overall limit of 300 items, and a minimum of 25 items. If you have more than 300 items that meet the guidelines and are of exceptional quality, you may get approval by emailing shopjackandjill@gmail.com prior to your drop off appointment.

Items we don't take:


  • Any clothing item that isn't in good shape or we feel our shoppers aren't looking for
  • Maternity clothing
  • Any broken or dirty toys, equipment, etc.
  • Sippy cups, nipples or pacifiers that are used
  • Used underwear and personal items
  • Stuffed animals
  • VHS tapes and any movies that aren't appropriate for children
  • Cribs manufactured before June 28, 2011
  • Quilted crib bumpers (mesh okay)
  • Used mattresses
  • Used breast pumps - information from the FDA and La Leche League
  • Anything that has been recalled
